Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), the form the body makes in sunlight. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus, the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, and the normal function of the immune system.
Before you use it
- 10,000 IU is well above the usual daily amount. Take it only as your doctor advises, and count the vitamin D in any other supplement you take.
