Food-grade diatomaceous earth: the fossilised shells of diatoms, a type of microalgae, made mostly of amorphous silica. No additives.
How to take it
Take on an empty stomach, at least an hour before food, with plenty of water — at least 2.5–3 litres a day — to avoid dehydration or constipation.
Before you use it
- Do not inhale the powder — breathing in fine silica dust can irritate the lungs. People with asthma or COPD should take particular care.
