Manuka Health MGO 400+ Manuka Honey – 500 g
Manuka Health MGO 400+ is 100% New Zealand manuka honey with a minimum of 400 mg/kg of methylglyoxal (MGO), the compound that occurs naturally in high amounts only in some manuka honey. Manuka Health grades its honey by MGO content and lists MGO 400+ as equivalent to UMF 13.
The honey comes from hives placed among manuka in remote parts of New Zealand. Every batch is tested to confirm its MGO level, testing takes place in an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory, and each jar can be traced back to the beekeeper it came from.
How to enjoy it
Take it from the spoon, stir it into a warm drink, have it at breakfast or use it in place of sugar.
Before you use it
- Do not give honey to babies under 12 months old.
- Honey is high in natural sugars. If you have diabetes, speak to your doctor about including it in your diet.
