Micronised DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) in a liquid for use under the tongue, 1.2 mg per drop. DHEA is a hormone made by the adrenal glands.
How to take it
Shake well. Place the drops under the tongue and hold for 30–60 seconds before swallowing. Take in the morning — taken at night it may cause vivid dreams or insomnia.
Before you use it
- DHEA is a hormone, not a vitamin — a blood test before use is advised.
- Do not use if you have a history of hormone-sensitive cancer (breast, prostate, ovarian).
- If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition, speak to your doctor before use.
- Keep out of reach of children.
