Privacy policy

We collect the information you give us (name, contact, address, order details) to process and deliver your orders, provide support, and improve your experience. We use cookies and analytics with your consent. We do not sell your personal data. You can request access to or deletion of your data by contacting info@veeey.com.

Analytics, Cookies and Tracking

To run our store, keep it secure, understand how visitors use it, and improve your experience, Veeey collects information about your visit using our own systems and trusted analytics tools.

1. Information we collect automatically

  • Technical and device data: device type (mobile, tablet, desktop), browser and operating system, screen and window size, preferred language, and whether the traffic appears to be from an automated program (a “bot”).
  • Usage and behaviour data: the pages and products you view, how you arrived (the referring site or campaign link), the searches you run, the actions you take (such as adding an item to your cart or completing an order), the time and date of your visit, and how long you spend on each page.
  • Location and network data: your IP address and an approximate location derived from it (country, region and city — not a precise GPS location).
  • Account link: if you are signed in, we may associate the above with your customer account.

2. Consent — what we collect, and when

We use a consent banner to respect your choices:

  • Always (essential measurement): basic, non-identifying technical information — device type, browser, operating system, and bot detection — which we need to keep the site working, secure, and free of fraudulent or automated traffic.
  • Only with your consent (“Accept all”): your full IP address, approximate location, browser and OS versions, language, screen and window size, and linking activity to your account, as well as loading Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie/consent settings on the site. If you decline, we do not load Google’s tools and we limit collection to the essential measurement described above.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser storage (including a locally-stored visit identifier) to remember your session, your consent choice, and to measure visits. Some are strictly necessary; others are used only after you consent. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, though blocking some may affect how the site works.

4. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to help us measure traffic and marketing performance. Information such as your interactions, device data and an approximate location may be shared with Google, both from your browser and from our servers, and processed by Google as described in Google’s own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We apply Google Consent Mode so these tools respect your choice. We do not sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep it

We keep detailed first-party analytics data for a limited period (by default, up to 90 days), after which it is automatically deleted or aggregated. Data held by Google is retained under Google’s own retention settings.

6. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law (including Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020), you may ask us to access, correct, or erase the analytics data associated with you, and to withdraw your consent. On request, we can erase the visitor-analytics records linked to your account. To make a request, contact us at info@veeey.com. We will respond within the period required by law.
